When you go Geode hunting do you just clear every rock on each level of the mine? Having low success rate and wondering if there is a trick I don't know of.

anytime i go in mines (for ore or geodes) i just hop the 5/15/25 lvls
for ores only get them then leave
geodes ill clear the whole floor - 15 is my go to bc from the 3 i jump to its the mid size area to cover

If in water mine, just hit the rocks that are common in earth mine, it’s the only way I’ve gotten water and mysterious geode.
