I've heard heart levels are all reset, and I don't know if I should just wait till a later version of the game (like when more heart events/romance is available) to really sink more time into the game again! Having to start again because I'm now playing on Steam Deck but I don't want to lose too much progress you know?

Devs are aiming to NOT have to reset things between updates BUT if stuff has to reset basically all your farm items & house stuff will be fine

I only talk to people, I don't really gift them anything for this reason 🫣 they still get hearts for talking though!
