Anyone having almost every floor in the Earth mine spawn hardly any ore?? Most floors are riddled with rocks and maybe every 2-3 floors I'll get a tiny cluster or 1 or 2 little ore rocks.
Is it supposed to be so barren until the next mine?

Having a bad luck day. I check out how good it will be by going to floors 5, 15 and 25 to see how many ores there are (and there are no monsters). If there are ores and gems, then the other floors will be better. Also, look for cracks in the ground. Hit the crack and keep following it (you might need to break a rock or two). It will end at a vein of ore that you can mine. You see cracks, you got a really good day in the mines.

I've gone multiple times during the week though and it's been like that quite a lot? Unless the fortune channel forecasts a week? (I don't look at it lmao)

depending on the day, I usually browse through the elevator floors and call it a day. Mining ores has always been hit or miss.

True - if the mines don't look promising, I go diving. Or hoeing on the beach for chests and stuff.

I always find the most copper ores on the elevator floors

I too find that some days the mines are nearly empty and some days I'm hauling out tons of stuff.
