Hi I know this sounds stupid There is obviously an energy bar. It goes down very quickly when you’re doing hard work but what’s the other bar for? The bottom bar. It has a heart beside it. Mine went all the way down to 1 when I was fighting monsters in the cave. How do you get that back up? Eating candied tree things didn’t help.

That is your health bar. Things like being hit by slimes/spiders in the mine will deplete that bar and if they get it down to 0 you will be ejected. There are specific foods that give you heath points back, but not all do. Look for foods that have a + sign and not a lightning bolt. Or of course have both! If you're early game its a bit more difficult to find foods but they're out there, forage everything! 🙂
