#good way to make money?

i saw a few post below saying insect jerky is a good source of money
Fall forage - the forest spawns the Titum flower (it’s quite rare) which once it’s honey is like 3K for normal quality
Always check the trees for coconuts!!! There’s less that spawn during fall but they have higher sell point than the spring and summer ones
The titan arum can be used for honey? 🤢 Idk why that could possibly sell for good money because holy heck that has to be TERRIBLE honey. (In case anyone hasn't googled titan arum yet, it's aka the corpse flower, it only blooms for a day or two every year, and they take quite awhile to mature, and they smell like a putrefying corpse. So, you know, bloated roadkill at close range. Since you can taste the flowers in honey, I cannot imagine that is pleasant 😂 ) Same with raffelesia, though I believe they not as strongly scented.
Dont rely too much on selling crops, it takes a lot of effort, money, and energies.. if you have a fishing rod, go fishing at the forest river left to your farm, the corner spot upon the farm's entrance is fine, or my favorite: the plants between two big trees.. catch as many sea cucumbers as you can in a day, easy money since it sells 175 corals each 👌👌 and i think the best time to fish for it is morning to noon before 12
PSA- You can harvest crops with a scythe. It's so much faster. Harvesting by hand was so difficult. Wish I knew this earlier and im hoping I can help someone out.
Bug jerky all the way. Even in winter you can find a lot of those little woolybear catipilars. If you catch about 10 or so bugs a day you're going to reliably bring in 3k a day.
omg I didn't know this! thanks! I'm used to other farming games with swiping a crop with the scythe would destroy them (except for wheat/grain type crops), so never bothered trying.
oh wow i didnt even consider making them into honey i just sold them... 🤦♀️
