so i have 22 hours in the game and im currently nearing the end of spring and im still basically broke lol at like 1800 money and i guess id just like to know if anyone has any tips on how to make some big moolah 💰??
ive been selling fish lately and my next attempt will be making beehives to make honey and maybe sell that in bulk.
i just want to be able to afford the kitchen upgrade and buy clothes and decorations and food from shops 🥹🥹🥹

the biggest thing that boosts my early/literally the start of game (I view cooking a mid game thing) is foraging!! collect everything you see every day, forest, lake/town, & the beach.
between the general store & the beach shop you can sell directly during the day to make money as you go, then after shops are closed go back to loading shipping bin

my strategy was expend almost all money buying seeds and wait until get the benefits, forage and fish while wait and craft
i am at the end of autum (1 years) with almost 7k
now i have 2 cows, 1 chicken and the kitchen
a good way also is explore the mines in order to get geodes and others

foraging and bug catch is the early game option to make money + fishing when feeling to do something different, crops are also a good investment if you start early in the season, i would save money for house upgrade before anything else, cuz with kitchen the money problem is over, bug jerky and grilled fish with grill are always profitable and smoothie and green smoothie with blender are also much profitable.

Get your kitchen, buy a grill, use manual cook mode, put in a bug and presto. Good money.

Bug jerky is very easy to make, and you can use any bug. Keep catching any you come across.

Re Bug Jerky- I bought the grill and tried to use it to make Bug Jerky, but it gave me a failed dish. is there someone I need to learn the recipe from before I can make it? I used the "manual function" and selected grill... only got failed dish both times.

Use the manual mode, then click on the grill. put the bug in. The cooking bar appears, click when the it gets to the lightest green section. Do NOT put multiple bugs in - you have to do it one at a time.

Dont rely too much on selling crops, it takes a lot of effort for the fertilizer and energies.. if you have a fishing rod, go fishing at the forest river left to your farm, the corner spot upon the farm's entrance is fine, catch as many sea cucumbers as you can in a day, easy money since it sells 175 corals each 👌👌

@fervent timber yeah i havent been selling crops at all unless theyre bronze or silver— otherwise im just hoarding them so i can make yummy food later. and oooo what time of year do sea cucumbers come out? are they all year long?

All year long, i found yet a better spot to fish: the fallen log that connects to giant villages, facing the waterfall.. and i also notice the sea cucumbers and sheepshead have the same price, best time to fish both of it is the earliest in the morning untill around 12-ish in the afternoon, before the firefish starts spawned and spamming up till late at night, so i usually maximize my fishing time from the earliest and start doing anything else after 12
Another thing that sells a lot of money is artisan products, be it yoghurt, mayonaise, wine, sake, beer, honey, etc. but the artisan tools need materials to craft, which might take time to collect, and not to remind you of how long would it take to create a bottle of those alcohol-based artisans since you also need to plant the related crops for its' materials 😅

-Grapes year round in greenhouse w/ fertilizer 2 w/ the msot upgraded crop thing from lab
-make osmium wine x1000 per
-summer do cactuses and jar them in the mason jar x700 per
-buy bait/grass starter/fertilizer in 999 stacks
-all winter run snowdrops/any high value flowers for honey
-all year round honey & wine and rotate; makes about 30k a day
