Diving areas

Are the diving areas in the red circle possible to access? I saw a screenshot of someone who had more progress in Ocean rank but when i went to check i have all altars activated except in the areas that are inside the circle but i cannot access those as they are blocked.
I thought those were just not ready to be accessed so i never paid attention until seeing the screenshot so i double checked all the areas and altars to see if i have missed something.

Unfortunately no. The paths to the red circled areas are blocked by the big black roots

All the altars are done in the other diving areas so that is why im wondering if these areas should be possible to access or not

I have a hard time processing that map so marked on the one I understand easily instead
The first silver kelp area that unlocks has an almost hidden staircase - I’ve circled in green - as it’s not obvious at first go
The corals themselves are actually a staircase there, you should be able to go down & access those last areas you’re missing

Ah, really? I was checking that area because the map shows stairs but couldn't see any kind of staircase or anything. I'll have another look. Thank you!

@wanton onyx well, I cleaned up some spaces in my ocean and I would like to know if you're still stuck on the quest

The quest will stay at the ‘follow retreated root - WIP’ after you do the cutscene after finishing 20/20
That’s just where it’s content ends for now, it’s work in progress and will continue later after content updates add to ocean
We have access to 20 coral sites to activate in the silver kelp depth after completing the entry /bronze kelp 20, but the ocean diving itself isn’t fully complete content wise till later
I’ve done all 40 sites & the quest remains - that’s just how it is right now

Based on the roadmap (see #🧾coral-game-info or view from in game main menu) Personally I don’t think think the next update of spring content will change ocean much
To me it’s more likely the following update of Summer content could give more (bc of noted ‘story quest part 2’ could include more diving quest maybe) && ofc the Merfolk update after that will give us the most new ocean content

the developer told me that he will put some content in the spring one. Do you think we will have in the spring or before??

The content devs have planned is in pic - outside of what they’ve noted in roadmap we don’t know / can’t really expect specific content

that's what I thought too, but a lot of stuck on this level and also on the level of the altar 2 of the goddess

Yes, bc that’s basically the end of current content for now until future updates expand the story progression &/add more to get us closer to final end game content, so we’ve got some waiting to be done for that all to happen

Yes, I found the coral stairs and was able to activate the rest of the altars and clear out the black vines that were blocking those areas in red. Here's a pic of what the stairs look like.

i believe it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be released during spring, it just means in-game spring content. so they could release it before or not

Bee thanks so much for this map! I was certain I was missing 1 orb SOMEWHERE, so this will let me methodically go through and check off every one 😍
