With ramping up produce production on my farm, I end up not having enough time in the day for everything. Can I skip petting the animals, once they have gained full hearts?
#Do animal relationships decay? If I don't pet them every day, will they start to lose hearts?

ive never noticed any heart decay (thankfully - i ignore my animals so much lol) only thing that I see really happen is mood can change, mostly around if theyve been fed or not & mood will affect their production

Ok good. I do make sure to fill their troths and keep grass outside for them, if it's a good day to let them out. I just hate the extra time to hug each animal lol

You can slow the game speed in settings if you do need more time for your animals. I slowed my speed down to better catch fish and forage the whole island.

I really wish we could run by them and pet them all at once like in stardew! Going up to each animal and waiting for the animation takes so long
