I believe the ocean critter altar cannot be completed yet but is there any tips for catching silver quality Koi and Rove Beetle?
I spent whole winter looking for Rove Beetle and could not find it and i have been spending days on trying to get a silver quality Koi at the Lake, but so far i have not even gotten bronze quality Koi.
I used fish baits but does not seem to do anything except maybe reduce the garbage?

When I’m bug hunting for a specific I go to it’s spawn area(s) in the time frame before it’s spawn time (so if I’m hunting a night insect I go to it’s spawn during afternoon)
I found clearing/catching all the bugs in the spawn zone before my hunted bug would be spawning the bug I wanted I would then see it spawned more

I caught the rove beetle before hand too with the same method except I couldn't catch with the basic bug net (they highlighted and everything and was well within the catch timer). I had to use the quality bug net for a successful catch.

3 places I spotted/caught them:

1. Vineyard
2. To the right of the bathhouse (near where Takeda usually overlooks the hot springs)
3. The little path to the left and then down of the farm with the little river (to the right of this river is Millie and Yuri's house)

Catch details: Winter | Appearance usually around 22:00 as long as I've been clearing bugs in this path leading up to this time to make room for the Rove Beetle to spawn.
