Has it been confirmed that we get to keep inventory, decorations, storage, at release? money too? Also, will gamepass players be ok too or will we have to buy the game at release? I really love this game, but I don't want to play for a year only to lose everything.. 😦

nothing is set in stone yet, but I would say it is very likely we will have to start over once it is released, it is not ideal but also this is early access, even some mechanic in games can/will be changed

or take it as a test run, to prepare yourself so you know what is the best thing to do in your farm when it is released

A: Carrying over saves will be handled on a per-update basis. Our goal is to maintain your save files as we update the game. However, some updates may fundamentally change the game. When this happens, all progression data will be reset, except for gold, inventory, farm layout, interior, and mastery.

I hope this is for game pass players as well. i wish i knew, cuz if not, i would go ahead and purchase the game.

Steam & game pass receive updates simultaneously so should be
Any public betas that come out are restricted to steam iirc
