bugs do not seem to react to me even when i approach them (there is no circle thing with an exclamation mark of alarm) and they do not try to move away. even when i swipe my net, i can’t catch the bug either. what should i do?

This is an ongoing issue for me, as well. When you progress in the bugcatching skill and decrease bugs awareness of you, I think it makes it even harder to catch them as well. They quit glowing for me way more once I did that on my last save.
