I have started to play the game recently and wanted to start playing it with my friends but dont see the option available, is it coming out soon?

It's still unfinished and there's a roadmap somewhere with a rough layout of the updates! Multiplayer was quite far away, somewhere around the full release in 3/4 to one year?
