#what are the best crops to grow for money ?

I find I didn't make enough money fast enough with crops until more artisan equipment was unlocked.
I mostly sell bug jerky now which requires the house upgrade with the kitchen and the grill appliance.
Bug jerky only requires one insect + grill and sells for 235. Bugs are a lot easier and faster to come by to me than fishing.

https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Crops @strong abyss you should be able to figure out an idea from here
Crops are plants that the player can grow on their farm to sell for profit, process into artisan goods or cooked dishes, consume to restore health and energy, or give to other characters as gifts. Crops are seasonal, which means they only grow during a specific season and die when the seasons change. However, some crops can be planted in multipl...
Thank you but unfortunately i have dyscalculia so numbers are complicated, that's why i'm asking. On the page do i follow the 1 tile per 28 day and go for the highest ?
just make bug jerkies then dude, no thoughts or reading required
I was hoping to use crops as passive income but i'll do the bug jerky
once you unlock green house making grape wine is enough to do anything you want at that point
Okay i'll keep that in mind ! Thanks
best of luck!
I've found that rice and Lily's are some very good crops, use a barrel on rice for sake makes good money and an bee box on the lily's for honey
@strong abyss I'm with you with reading numbers and have a hard time following things with multiple steps. Aside from bug jerky I found making large yogurt (goes for 400 something for silver) and wine yielded more money too!
- Grapes are a common crop of choice because it will continually reproduce in the fall or when you have a greenhouse (unlocks after the first altar offering is completed).
- Honey is a good way too but takes a bit of waiting here's the top 5 selling (common) flowers as honey
Thanks for sharing this, I had no idea giant crops were a thing!
Thank you so much!!!
If you want to sell crops without making into artisan goods, I have my own calculation in Excel (it will change according to update):
Here is the summary:
-
For green house: Strawberry is the best profit maker, Sugarcane is the second
-
Spring: Sugarcane is the first (profit 430 for 28 days per crop), then Strawberry is the second (profit 305 for 28 days per crop)
-
Summer: Pineapple is the first (profit 225 for 28 days per crop), then Lily is the second (profit 216 for 28 days per crop)
-
Fall: Lily is the first (same as above), then pumpkin is the second (profit 210 for 28 days per crop)
-
Winter: Cotton is the first (profit 135 for 28 days per crop), then snowdrop is the second (profit 130 for 28 days per crop)
Note:
a. Strawberry is better than sugarcane for long term profit, and sugarcane beat strawberry for short term
b. The worst harvests to grow are all the fruit plants, because they generate loss after 56 days. You will not get what you've paid.
grapes for wine are a nice passive income but they take a while. other than that i do mayo and joghurt everyday, all bronze or above quality. and whatever i have to put in the jelly thing (i forgot the name lol)
