Just want to make sure cooking all these tarts doesn’t accidentally get rid of all the fruit I’ve been stockpiling 😂
#When cooking a recipe, will the items in your inventory be used before items in storage?

ive noticed some differences between the recipes (saved/learned) vs the manual cooking - & a note that the kitchen UI only shows you the backpack inventory, theres no tab for fridge inventory at this point
when i was on my recipe page - it pulls from my fridge automatically (i had flour in my fridge but not my backpack) was able to cook bread without having to select anythign specifically
manual recipes afaik you will always have to manually select/input the ingredients yourself - & this will only be able to access/be done from your backpack inventory (at least in this current build in game)
I personally dont have fruit tart recipe just yet, but if you cook it from the recipe id use caution as the kitchen does default (from what i can tell) to pulling from your fridge - although you should be able to still input your ingredients yourself

So it seems like it will take items from left to right from your backpack first, but then go into your chests or the fridge and there’s no rhyme or reason to the order 💀
Another super annoying thing is that it will make one of the recipe just for selecting it. @waxen heart
