I've noticed both these two have been impossible to catch, even when the net is clearly over them like it is for all other insects which I haven't had this issue for. Have tried using all three levels of net and 5+ encounters each so I don't think it's just a skill issue but happy to take that L if it's working for everyone else. Cheers!

I only use the basic net and i havent had problems with the black widow. I catch them before they get spooked and havent played this most recent patch though

I have the 2nd bug net and caught a widow spider a couple days ago.

I’ve caught both multiple times BUT have also had both get away often
As with all bugs (although it can be hard to tell with these two bc the models can be stuck in the the ground sometimes obscuring this detail) I aim to do a dash approach from behind so they’re less aware
