Giant Stingray

I bought in early access so I only have the first 3 skill levels - the other two are locked. I have level 5 fishing, the best rod available, and I used a fishing buff but no matter what I try, this fish pulls the line to its max and snaps. Has anyone with the same abilities as me ever landed this? If so, how?

I managed to reel it in by doing mini pull‘s during its initial thrashing (which I normally wouldn’t do), and that made it, so it didn’t get too far away to break the line and then I was just very careful and patient the rest of the time reeling it in

I'll keep trying that, but I haven't had any success yet.

Did you use the 12,000c fishing pole?

Yes! I used the quality one for all my legendary fishing
