I think my game was slow to update because I am just now experiencing lots of changes some people have been talking about for a while. I went to craft and noticed many items I could make before are suddenly not there. Including hedge fences. Is the only way to get them now at the furniture store? Or will I just have to unlock the crafting recipe again? Thanks

They capped skill levels at 5, so some items we used to be able to make are not available now. Like hedge fences or sprinkler 2.
