I keep finding damage books but they don't show up anywhere in my inventory. When I go to the library to donate a book, it says I don't have any books to donate even though I've found like 4 damaged books. Is this a bug?

the update changed the book system a bit - books when found tell you which book it is & what section to find it in & are automatically added to the library
however the old system/donation box is still there but has no current function
