I found the meteor by Paul's house. I have a silver pickaxe but couldn't break it. How did everyone else break it up? Also, I know there is a second meteor on the map but I can't find. Could someone tell me where it is and if I can pickaxe it?

that big gold one at paul's house I got rid of with my silver pickaxe - just takes a lot of carefully placed (or like, random hopeful swings till i hear the impact sound) on the left edge/side of it

not that i've found - just gotta hope for the RNG to give the event overnight for one on your farm

Well, that'll explain why I couldn't find it. I've had 2 satellite events but nothing else.
