Am not sure if this is something they’re still working on but, I changed PC since am back home and the save file that I was playing in crashes when I try to start it. Is there any way I can still play that save file ?

yes, you can. changing pcs should not impact your save file, unless the other pc has weaker specs

I started in the official alpha release
I’ve created another file and it’s able to run that one but not the original one

maybe try sending the save file to stairway games support email? they will take a look at it and offer help
