I started a fresh game with the new update and I've progressed into Summer. Then I realized I never got the cutscene with Ling and completed the "Into the Ocean" quest. But I have been able to access the diving and cleared several coral shrines. Ling never seems to leave the lab for me to meet her on the docks so I'm not sure if I can progress it?

actually I think I started the game the day before the update

I started a new game after the update and found that I can't talk to Ling when she's standing on the diving pier behind the rope-barrier. In my previous game I used to be able to speak to her.

Also having this glitch. I've been diving, but Ling never comes to the pier

Me too, same thing, I thought she would walk down at some point but I haven't seen her
