After the update it started to take too long to make artisan products in the game, I can only produce 1 mayonnaise and yogurt per day. For drinks, the situation is even worse. Is this just me or is it a feature that came with the update?

It's not you, it's a feature - they nerfed the makers. A lot of people have been giving feedback on it so hopefully they change it back.

Yeah I get products that have high value taking longer but cranberry juice that sells for only 35c should not take a day. They nerfed it a little too hard. Wine was already a stretch taking 6 days for 780c but now it only sells for 520 I won’t bother at all. I luckily had all kitchen appliances before the update so just stick to cooking now. Hoping they fix the socket and pan glitch ASAP for everyone else who can’t purchase there now.

People have different play styles, and I think it's sad that they're pushing you in one direction for what they think is the correct playstyle. I personally love using the machines and spent sooo much time diving just to get trash to make scrap to then make into machines. Cooking for me is not exciting at all and it takes the fun out of the game since the way I want to play takes so long now.

Agreed. I think it’s very odd they’re pushing people to go the cooking route. While I’ve been grilling a lot of bugs to make money, I still preferred mason jars and kegs for fruits/veggies to make artisan products. However, at the rate it’s going with time/cost, it seems I’ll be saving my crops and only be blending smoothies in the near future. Pretty disappointing.

It certainly takes up unnecessary time irl to cook for sure and I’d preferably return to a balance of both like I did prior to the update. Hoping they will take another look and make some revisions. I’ve noticed the silver kelp isn’t spawning as much as before and there seems to be less trash in the ocean for me and just tons of seaweed instead. I could make more machines to process stuff and make up for increased production time but I need a lot of scrap for that.
