#Artisan Goods Processing Slow??

Yes, they increased the time it takes to generate artisan goods and other products.
They made products much slower to produce. I feel they shouldn’t have changed the Mayo and yogurt machine though because it was my only way to make a tiny bit of quick cash so I could buy more seeds and stuff.
I ended up having a machine for every single animal I have just to keep up. Worth the investment to get more, but it was a pain.
This was the problem that came about with Story of Seasons Olive Town and we ended up having a farm littered with makers, I just disagree.
Yup too slow for cheap produce makes it pointless. Some are okay like the yoghurt, butter and Mayo taking a day I get as good sale price but cranberry juice for 35c? 😭😂
Yeah i was also disappointed that they increased the time! i get why, but people play differently and for me, i LOVE making as much as i can to see how much money i can make. I redesign my farm constantly and that can get very expensive! have you seen how expensive some items are? i've spent hundreds of thousands on just redesigning. I just finished a redesign and i bought crap tons of lone trees from the furniture store and they were 800c each!!! no way i could afford that making a single juice from one machine a day. so the money balances out imo
It's just way too slow now. They've gone way too far with this change.
I make my money cooking my produce, grill bugs and fish and turn fruit n vegetables into smoothies. I won’t bother with the artisan goods so much now unless it’s got a good profit or is for gifting or cooking with.
Agree, there were some great improvements but they wrecked the processing time for artisan goods . 😦
Were there some great improvements though? We got some fruit trees and fishing is a bit quicker (although you catch like half flyers now). And a few more hair styles. Was there anything else?
The museum donation system was greatly improved with the extra rewards and mining was somewhat improved too with a higher chance of rock domino when smashing rocks and graphics were improved. This update wasn’t ever meant to be progressive in content but was a feedback update focused on improving and fixing issues fed back from the initial release. So I wasn’t expecting storyline updates or more content but I also wasn’t expecting such drastic changes to machine processing times either. There were also some new outfits. They also made it so you could use winter crops for the alter instead of having to use fall crops for winter offering. Meaning you have a bit longer to reach rank c to unlock the greenhouse. If you ranked up too late in fall you missed out on the greenhouse so that’s an improvement. The monkeys sit on the trees and no longer float. The fishing is miles better especially with the new rod and bigger net for bug catching. So yes lots of improvements but lots of issues too 😦
Well so least they fixed the greenhouse. That was just so mean to do all that work and have to wait a year. I agree on the fishing. So yes there are little things. But I don't feel like they are sufficient enough to outweigh the bad with this update. On the whole its made the game worse in my opinion. Especially if you're affected by the crashing at night and socket and pan bugs (which I am).
So even if they are processing slower than before I am fine with it. Now I have about 6 mason jars, and I have some jams ready almost every time I pass by, it would be about few times a day. and I kind of like that they are not done at the same time, so I have variability of jams ready. Kegs take a bit longer, so I usually have 1 or 2 drinks to sell per day. But I have only 3 kegs, so I know I will have more when I make more kegs. I just started making mayo, so I have only 2 or 3 jars done per day. but if you have couple of mason jars/kegs/mayo or yoghurt machines you get actually a lot of products.
Apparently the socket and pan bug has now been fixed at least
Oh that's so exciting!
I have 3 each of the yoghurt and Mayo machines and that does me fine even with changes. I have about 10 kegs and plan to make a few more mason jars as only have 3. I won’t bother juicing the cheap crops though since it’s too slow but I’ll continue with more profitable stuff and turn cheap veggies/ fruit into smoothies etc I still make a good daily profit doing this. Just a bit tedious manually cooking, I wish I had recipes for the smoothies etc so I could make more than one at a time
thats what I am doing. cheap fruits and veggies go into smoothies. 1 fruit in blender=1 green smoothie, 1 veggi=1 smoothie. and I use that for health while diving and going mining. I make 5,6 of them and that can sustain you whole day in the mines/under the water. and I havent used all of it. the bronze and silver fruits and veggies I make into jams , with 6 mason jars I have quite a lot of jams coming out throughout the day. I am still with 3 kegs, and wine/beer/juices take really long time. I am working now on getting more kegs. for butter I have separate 3 mason jars now, and with my 3 cows its more than enough, and I have 4 mayo, which is also for now enough. I am waiting to get yoghurts.
I make garden salad for energy with the chefs knife. Grapes can be made into raisins in the oven but have very low sell price the grill has been my biggest money maker turning bugs into jerky 🙂
I dont have grill yet. just got blender and chefs knife. I will switch to garden salad I see it gives a bit more stamina.
Have they released the hotfix for it yet? I haven't seen it
