So I started playing again since the new update, but I havent received any letter that the town has increased the rank. I went to a store and saw new seeds, and clothing store. But there was no letter that morning. Why was the letter removed?

depending on the season and rank you already had those are the seeds and items that are now connected to this town rank. so unless your town rank didnt increase there is no missing letter but rather the last letter isnst uodated to the new version of the game

so it is a new save, and it was spring. I increased the rank during the spring, but there was no letter. In the previous save I got a letter from mayor letting me know that the town rank increased and that new seeds and clothing store are available.

ah okay i thought you hadb´´nt incresed the rnak in a while and updated the file while you still played on the same save with no rank oncrease and the available seeds just updated.
as far as im aware there should still be letters for each increase, but maybe someone who has played the update a bit longer can voice their knowledege
