I have started playing the game for the first time today, and I am just wondering how far I can progress after the first year. I heard from some people that you cannot do anything after the first year. is that true?
#With the current update, will there be much of anything to play after the first year?

Yeah I don’t think yr 2 has been implemented yet think the update was improvements/tweaks rather than progress in the story. You can still play in yr 2 and maybe save up to buy furniture and decorate your farm but I don’t think you’ll get any new cut scenes etc. I was hoping for at least 1 new animal with this update but we gotta wait a bit longer I guess. There’s some items no longer accessible I noticed so not sure if they are holding those back until they implement yr 2. At least we have fruit plants now and better museum interface. 🙂
