Hello! Anyone know the requirements for planting the new fruit tree saplings? Ive tried placing them all over but no luck is there somewhere specific I have to plant them or certain requirements I have to reach?

have you used the hoe to till the ground before planting them? I had to till the 4 spaces they needed

They are only available in the beta version. I bought a seed with the boat vendor, planted it and nothing happen. 😞 however if you have the beta activated you will be able to plant some. Like Tuki said you need to hoe 4 tiles and water them.

Will they grow in the greenhouse?

I was able to plant three fruit trees in the beta. Then the seasons changed and two turned to withered plants that can't be replaced/chopped down/harvested

Fruit TREES and fruit PLANTS are different.
There are no trees implemented yet - and no, not in beta either.
Fruit PLANTS live 2 seasons only, then die.
But yes, they do live in a greenhouse.
