I'm playing the beta and I just got the fishing pole and I bought some bait but idk how to equip it. Can someone help?

it equips to you, not the fishing pole - on the inventory page at the bottom you will see 4 equipment slots beside where the clothing slots are, the top left of the equipment slots is where bait goes

Thank you. I was playing with a controller and it wasn't working, using my mouse works though.

Beach shop sells it & the recipe you unlock is active now (in beta) from your crafting menu
