Mason Jar & Item Quality

When placing items into the mason jar, does the item quality matter? In other words, if you put in a bronze or silver quality item, does that mean that you will get a bronze or silver quality item out of the mason jar?

Yes. Whatever quality is that item you process - processed product retain that.
