How to prevent rocks, weeds and wood destroying your crops?

So I have my fields all tilled, fertilized and have seeds in them, but as the title says how do you prevent rocks, wood and weeds from popping up in my fields and destroying my all ready planted tilled lands? Thank you for taking the time to read and reply to my question. 🙂

I don't think you can. It's a random event. Plus, at the end of the season, any crop that's out of season "dies" and random rocks & wood will appear.

Thanks for the answer, that sucks. I just hate it when it happens on the day I am about to harvest that's good money right there.

Remember that the season is only 28 days and plant accordingly. If you plant a 7 day plant on the 24th, you're not going to get a harvest.
