Best way to get a good bit of trash after you cleaned the ocean levels? my trash just doesnt respawn in large amounts

trash will come up in the ocean, like the unicorn said :)
you can find a mess of trash at the recycling center once a year [it regenerates with the new year]
you can find trash along the beach and in the water, but not much
you can get trash by 'rummaging' in trash cans, along with other useful stuff

Trash respawn fast in the Deep Area in the ocean (all the maps where you'll find silver kelps). Deep Area don't have any Seaweed for now, so trash respawn a lot in larger survace area. Wait 3 to 4 days.

I'm fine with trash now, I seem to have enough for what I need. Someone posted in here or coral-general about never using trash to make glass - use stone. (I have heaps of stone from mine trips and I use that to make glass for the kelp essence bottles.) I'm starting to accumulate trash to make into scrap. Unless I'm missing something I should be needing piles of trash for??

Trash can be turned into both scrap and compost. Compost is useful for making things to improve your crops, like fertilizer, but that's best useful if you're selling the crops. Once you start being able to cook the quality of the crops don't matter as much [mostly]. I'm in year 3 and at this point I mostly use trash to make scrap.

@meager gorge trash makes scrap at the recycling machine ans scrap makes glass. So trash -> scrap -> glass. Its hard to find sand to make glass.

I dunno about making glass from stone tho. I don't think you can? Components for making glass should be either Sand or Scrap.
