I did. it and nothing bad happend just make sure grass is outside as it doesn’t regrow

from what i've heard, they don't currently have animal friendship decay in the game yet.

when NOT snowing, otherwise they will be grumpy

Mine were perfectly fine no matter the weather, but then one time couple of chickens got stick outside for whatever reason (glitch, I guess) so they didn't got inside in the evening, so next morning those few were grumpy "because left in the rain" and didn't lay eggs.
Now I keep them inside if it's raining/snowing.
