I'm sorry if someone already made a post about this but I was wondering what we do with monster essence? I've been saving them all thinking they would have a future use but I'm starting to wonder if I should just sell them?

They don't cost that much to sell, so...
On the other hand - I've accumulated about 50 so far (and it's in just year one and not fighting much)...
Bottom line - it's up to you. If you need that 10C (iirc) or do not worry about sollecting items "just in case" - go ahead and sell.
Besides, keep in mind that we might have to start over anyway at some point or another, since future update might turn older saves unplayable.

They might or may not - depending on what's exactly changing.
That's just the thing with EA games - some new features might make old saves not compatible with new features/mechanics.
Or it might be still playable but it's just more fun to start over again and experience the game in full as it's intended, progression and all.
I'm definitely starting a new file when it's in full release (I know it's a long way ahead)
