I left the cotton alone (ready to harvest) for a few days, (waiting for the bottom section to catch up) and this happened??? It is unharvestable.. haven't tried to axe it or anything... just giant ol' cotton in my field.

Cotton is one of the crops that can make a "mega crop" if it's planted in a 3x3 formation. It's safe to harvest it. You can use the scythe thingy if need be.

it was the pickaxe! and lucky enough it proc'd double crop so i ended up getting 24 cotton from what essentially shoulda been 9. pretty sweet
