I am attempting to finish Noah's request for the two flowers and the wood but I am showing up at the requested location and nothing is happening. Are we able to fulfill these question in early access?

There's been some issues with the Bonfires quest, but the flowers one should work. They go to the tavern, not Garden Lane.
As for the wood, I think I saw somebody was able to complete it by cutting down a tree on Garden Lane, rather than bringing already cut wood. And note that Garden Lane is labelled incorrectly on the in-game map - the actual Garden Lane is the grassy area between Millie's house, the farm and the inn. Try that maybe?
