Can't place tap

Hi everyone, can someone explain to me what I need to do to be able to place a tap on any of these trees?

I think they aren't fully grown yet but one stage before 🤔 afaik taps can only be placed on fully grown ones

those trees look tiny

tree is fully grown if you can shake it, these look like they're too small
