Does the grass outside of your farm grow back next season?

I cut all of the grass in the entire map during Fall Year 1 to craft some hedges and make hay but now I’m at Fall Year 2 and they never grew back like how the trees and scavengeables would spawn back every season….

I believe you have to buy grass starters from Sam. It doesn’t spawn on its own if there is no grass at all.

Next time, leave some patches of grass so that they can multiple and grow more

they will die during winter regardless - you have to buy grass starter each spring.

Ohh, I see. I'm only on Winter 2 and so far the grass seems ok. Do they die when it transitions to the next spring? Or after a blizzard?
