I've been experiencing some pretty noticeable screen tearing when moving horizontally; any tips for in-game setting optimization to reduce this?

(As a general note, the screen tearing is noticeable/juddery enough that I can't play for long periods of time, given the discomfort it creates due to eye strain.)
