#Kiracha sauce or syrup (not maple) help?

Heey, apparently to make Kiracha sauce I need syrup (not maple syrup). I see some other recipes that need just regular syrup too. Does anyone know how to get regular syrup? I tried using maple syrup for some recipes instead, but it didn't work out :(
