Hey all! Is not being able to fish in mines a bug or is that feature we will get later? Or am I the only one that can't fish in the mines? I really like fishing and it would be cool if there were a couple of blind fish I could catch!

What happens when you cannot fish? Have you walked down to the bottom of the docks there to make sure you're close to the water?

I haven't tried fishing at every body of water in the mines but when I've tried, I cast but it returns to me and i don't fish

That means you're not close enough to the water
make sure you walk to the docks on the sides, and walk down as far as you can to be close to the water

There are ponds in the earth mines and the early water mines where you can fish. It takes a while but I’ve gotten basic pond/lake fish from them

I’ve only played early access. It might be in the previous patch and was phased out in the recent update, but I have gotten flowerhorns and goldfish from the mines

I was just able to fish in some of the mine levels. Some of them, there is water but you can't get close enough and it won't let you. Some of them works just fine.
I just got two flowerhorns and a mackerel from inside the water mine.

I'll continue trying then. Some of the water may not be like, wide enough for even a short cast, I guess
