i never had this happen to me, but did you give ur chickens hays the day before? if yes, this might be a bug. try restarting the game. if the same thing still happens you might want to report it as a bug

Maybe check the status board in the coop to see if the chicken still shows up there. My chickens have stood directly on top of each other before so I could only interact with one and I could only fix it by sending them outside. 😅
