The TV said salmon is available in the rivers during Fall- almost done with the season and haven't been able to find any. Anyone know where they spawn?

I may be answering this a bit late, but I have not heard of anybody successfully fishing up a salmon so far. I haven't been able to, even with a lot of fall river fishing -- it seems that there are a lot of fish that are inaccessible right now.
