#Update Data Reset questions

I know that when major updates come out, the devs have said that there will definitely be data lost except for "gold, inventory, farm layout, interior, and mastery". But I'm curious about 1) temple offerings 2) upgraded tools and 3) chests

  1. will offerings to the Lake Temple all be deleted and restarted? Or will they count as mastery unlocks in a way, given that the Spring one can give you a Greenhouse which would then be considered part of your farm layout?

  2. Tool upgrades come via vendors who would likely be reset... does this mean we'd no longer have silver/gold/etc tools?

  3. Do chests count as inventory or is it only what's on your person?

These are questions we can only theorize at the moment, haven't seen any response otherwise (hoping they warn/provide clarity when the time comes before a reset) I'd imagine chests are part of the farm layout category, would be surprised if not.
