#My game won't open, it's been three days.

I have 41 hours on the game and was playing it pretty consistently until I tried opening it and the only thing that happens; Is that the pretty coral island rectangle launcher thing pops up. The game doesn't open but steam seems to think it is because it's adding minutes and hours to the game time for however long the launcher thing is up. I have not done anything different or drastic to my P.C. just got on one day and it wouldn't launch. Today is marking the third day it has yet to fully launch. Feeling a lil sad because I just want to play the game. I did try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. And other games launch just fine from steam. Help would be most appreciated!

If you got it on steam go under properties and verify your game files. That might help!

General IT tips, 1. Have you checked for any updates on Steam for the game that are pending? 2. Have you shut down and turned back on your computer recently (different from a restart)? 3. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling (with cloud backup on Steam so you don't lose your progress)? If you have, I'm sorry I don't have much more recommendation. 😦 But I hope any of this helps!

If you haven't got a powerful enough computer then put it on compatibility mode in steam

reinstalling the game again atm. Then I'm gonna do the file integrity thing and restart my pc. Hopefully it works after all that. I have a really good custom PC. It meets and exceeds most of the specs needed.

That happened to me before with a game on an ancient laptop, it wasn't good enough to even run Stardew saurusnessDisguise
