Trees? More animals? Giant Location?

I upgraded my island to a C rank and I got mail saying there were more animals unlocked and I can now grow trees. I’ve been to sams shop and the animal shop and I don’t see any new animals or trees. Also I can’t find the second giant? Help me!😂

Afaik neither more animals than the initial ones nor the fruit trees are implemented yet
