is there a way to know if you have already donated something to the museum or if it is an item that i need for offerings?

I got a short memory.

If you've already donated an item to the library it won't be able to be clicked on to donate again.

yeah but something so i don't have to keep running to the donation box and back

You can look for it in your collections tab. I can't remember what it's called, but there will be a list that shows all the critters, crops, and artifacts you've found.

For the donation, it got a green Museum Symbol in your journal
