Toggle on auto sprint in the settings. You can dash with spacebar. Chests are your BFF’s. Checking the trashcans gives you goodies sometimes and villagers nearby are currently unaffected. Some of the forageables have buffs when eaten but it won’t spoil. Farming is your best moneymaker currently and once you have the hot springs unlocked they’ll be your new BFF

Also put the game speed at 50%. The game days will pass much slower and in the first few days when you’re getting to know the map it’s really nice

try to talk to everyone and give gifts. you'll figure out who likes or dislikes what.

also keep one of EVERYTHING. you never know when you'll need it for a quest. and I would keep your star produce cause you'll need it for a quest later. also keep like 10 milk and 20 eggs, that'll be a quest

keep an eye on the time! you'll pass out at 2400. also if you run out of energy your screen will lose all its color

make chests to store all your finds. Everything is important. Don't even sell/destroy your trash. Save your bugs and only sell duplicates until you get a museum quest.

Not sure if someone said this already but save up for the coop and barn. Save at least one of everything you grow including the different grades. You never know what you might need. Also fishing is nice.

Play through main quests till you get the teleporters. Very easy to finish and very helpful as rewards.

Don't sell your trash. It's very useful in crafting!
