Town Rank

So I read that cleaning the ocean in the deep dive helps increase town rank, does clearing the trash do that too? Or is it just referring to the orbs? I just was wanting some clarification there if possible

you’ll need to raise your town rank to unlock many things within the town. you do this by donating items to the museum (bugs, fish, gems, artifacts), completing the offerings at the temple, and progressing through the diving quest by activating all of the coral shrines (41? total).

at least during alpha, so i've been told, it was very clear what exactly raises town rank, and it was those things

however i cleared the entire island of trash anyway to be on the safe side, cause that makes sense to me. also all the trash is ugly

but the trash down in the ocean itself while diving doesn't count, no

@granite spindle thank you. I knew about all the other things, but didn't know if I had to clear the entire trash down below to get it up too. I'm tryin to get to rank C in fall xD I'm like just on the edge

i got to c rank by doing all the shrines (counted 41 total from the map), 4/6 of the offerings, and 110 donations to the museum

i think if you do all the shrines, and 5/6 of the offerings, you only have to do 90-95 donations

at the orange arrow, to get up the stairs you have to move along the right of the stairs, get on the 'grass' there, and kind of clip yourself onto the stairs.
