Does talking to the same NPC multiple times in a day increase more friendship hearts? (Like sometimes the npc can be talked to 5 times in the day)

Got two responses where one said yes and the other said once is all that is needed. So still am not sure which one is it.

both are right. you can have one conversation but you may need to click on them 5 times to complete it. Talk to them till they talk no more.
