rank c town upgrades

So I got the letter saying that I got the town to rank c (yay!), and that I would be able to buy fruit trees/ upgrade barns and coops/ buy different animals. But there’s no new fruit trees/ animals/ upgrades available and when I look in my letters, it’s not there. This has happened a few times where my mail doesn’t show up in my letters and I can’t reread what it says. Town rank in the community center still says C so idk, are those items not available yet in game?

I believe fruit trees aren't implemented yet nor are other animals i believe since Sheep is also supposed to be available by Rank D i think but its not yet there

Any specifics on how you got to C? I've gone through both mines to level 40, have done all of the offerings except for the 3 winter crops, and cleared out the ocean (up to what's currently available). I've also completed Sam's quests, and have the museum expansion "open". Not sure if I should just keep clearing garbage in the ocean or what. Was hoping a C rating would unlock winter crops.

I would rec that you keep donating to the museum that’s how I got to rank C when I had finished everything else

You have to be able to clear all coral shrines, and I believe have at least 96 items donated at the museum. So far that's the common factor for those in C

Yes I noticed this today, my seed bags say rank D yet I have access to rank C seeds, the letter in the mail is also missing from my journal tab, and the community center board says I'm rank C as well

Your seed bags rank are not related to the town rank - Rank D seed bags mean that you have gotten the first seed upgrade at Ling's. When you get the second (that costs silver kelp essence), they'll say Rank C.

Welp. I have 114 items donated to the museum. Working on buying and upgrading everything that I can and befriending the Townies. The only open quests I have are "Root of the Problem" and follow the retreated root in "Explore the Ocean". I believe that's as far as you can go in those quests, unless I'm missing something?

That's as far as you can go in those quests, but it may be worth double-checking to see if you missed out any of the 20m solar orbs - they contribute to the town rank but you won't see quest progression, so it's easy to miss
