Hi ive reached the bottom of earth shaft and heard that this was meant to open up the next mine? (water shaft). but nothing i do can get it to open up!

fairly sure only earth and water mines are available in early access! not 100 sure tho so someone correct me if wrong

The water "mine" unlocks at 40 level of earth mine. There is a cut scene. You can't miss it.

Oh i misread that! damn, thats really annoying then. havent encountered this bug so not sure 😦

When I reached level 40 of the earth mine, I had a weirdly rendered door at the bottom and nothing else happened. I lost my save to the Game Pass bug, so I can't go back to double check.

Out of curiosity, did you use the rope to leave floor 40, or the elevator?

Water Mine does open at the end of the Earth Mine. The door is back up at the top to the right. There is a small scene where the door cracks open. I always leave through the elevator.

I used the elevator too, I'm wondering if maybe using the rope won't trigger the cutscene for people

Same, when I got to lvl 40 of the Earth Mine, there's a door that won't open (probably not implemented), but when you go back upstairs you should see that the Water Mine opened

I didn't have a cutscene for the water mine, I had gotten to level 40 in earth and left the mine then saw that water was now open.
